2025 NASCAR Cup Series - Shriners Children's 500

Daytime Savings Time has commenced, meaning all clocks across America are springing forward by one hour. For the NASCAR Cup Series contenders, they've sprung forward to Phoenix for the Shriners Children's 500.

As the green flag waved, the action in Phoenix began. Stage 1 saw Katherine Legge's NASCAR debut take a downturn when she spun on Lap 5 but remained on her feet. This was followed by an incident on Lap 10 that entangled Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Cole Custer, while Joey Logano was penalized for going below the yellow line too soon on the restart. As William Byron won Stage 1, Stage 2 featured Michael McDowell sliding up the track, The Big One occurring on Lap 99, and Legge spinning off Turn 2, where she was hit by Daniel Suarez on Lap 216. With Christopher Bell leading at Phoenix, the final moments included Bubba Wallace hitting the wall on Lap 266, Ryan Blaney's engine blowing on Lap 290, and Ty Gibbs crashing into the wall on Lap 305.

Super Formula 2025 - Round 1-2

The Super Formula returns for its 2025 season. It features legendary Gran Turismo racer Igor Fraga, who competes in his #65 PONOS Nakajima Racing machine. With both new and familiar drivers on the grid, the 2025 season is set to be just as intense as the previous one. The season opener took place at Suzuka Circuit, where drivers tried their best in this two-race event.

In Race 1, the #6 DoCoMo Team Dandelion Racing, driven by Kakunoshin Ohta, secured victory by defeating former Formula 2 driver Ayumu Iwasa in the #15 car, alongside Ren Sato from the #64 PONOS Nakajima Racing team. In Race 2, Tadasuke Makino, behind the wheel of the #5 DoCoMo Team Dandelion Racing car, emerged as the winner, with Sho Tsuboi finishing in 2nd place and Iwasa taking 3rd.

The two DoCoMo Team Dandelion drivers drew first blood at the season opener but this is only the beginning. The next event will be at MobilityResort Motegi this April 18-20, 2025.

2025 NASCAR Cup Series - EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix

A different kind of COTA awakens as the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series takes on its first road course action of the season, the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix, featuring a new layout of the Circuit of the Americas, the sacred ground of the F1 US Grand Prix.

As the green flag waves, NASCAR in COTA is on. Stage 1 saw a multitude of incidents from Ty Dillon's spin on Lap 4 to Cody Wave's spin-and-save on Lap 17. As Bubba Wallace wins Stage 1, his first stage win on a road course, Stage 2 saw Kyle Larson slapped with a penalty for shortcutting Turn 3 while running in 8th followed by Denny Hamlin for shortcutting Turn 5, and John Hunter Nemechek for a commitment line violation, not to mention Larson lost his right front wheel on Lap 44. As Ryan Preece wins Stage 2, the final stage saw Daniel Suarez get hit by Connor Zilsch on Lap 50, Alex Bowman spin on Lap 56, Denny Hamlin sends Austin Dillon into the gravel on Lap 78, and Chase Briscoe sends Ty Gibbs spinning on Lap 83.

The next race is at Phoenix Raceway for the Shriners Children's 500 this March 9, 2025.

NTT IndyCar Series 2025 - Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg

The NTT IndyCar Series is entering an exciting new season. For the first time, the 2025 season will be simulcast on FOX TV networks. This change in network coverage has generated considerable discussion, but new and returning IndyCar drivers are ready to tackle the challenges ahead. The season kicks off with a street race at the Firestone Grand Prix in St. Petersburg, Florida.

As the green flag waved, the first race of the 2025 IndyCar season kicked off with Nolan Siegel, Will Power, and Louis Foster wrecked on the opening lap, triggering the first caution of the season. As the race restarts on Lap 7, Felix Rosenqvist has race leader Scott McLaughlin in his sights.

Quarters of this race and crucial pitstops later, Lap 74 saw Josef Newgarden make an impressive offense through Scott Dixon, and as the climax drew near, it became a three-way clash between Alex Palou, Josef Newgarden, and Scott Dixon.

After a dramatic start of the season, Alex Palou drew first blood by beating Scott Dixon and Josef Newgarden to win the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.

FIA WEC S13 - Qatar 1812km

The 13th season of the FIA World Endurance Championship has officially begun. The new season is packed with interesting grid additions in both classes. Aston Martin's Valkyrie AMR-LMH makes its Hypercar Class debut, and Mercedes-AMG joins the LMGT3 Class fray.

The first campaign of the 2025 season is at Lusail, the sacred venue of the F1 Qatar Grand Prix. The Qatar 1812km endurance race will take place from sunrise to sundown, and new and returning drivers will have to endure 1812km of asphalt racing action. This race saw the Valkyrie AMR's WEC debut in disaster when the #007 car retired early and the #009 car flung one of its doors off. It was followed by two Cadillac cars colliding under the safety car, and the #77 Mustang GT3 caught fire.

After a grueling Qatar opener, Ferrari swept the podium for the first time in WEC history with the #50 FERRARI AF CORSE 499P the winner, the #83 the second placer, and the #51, which set this race's fastest lap in 1:41.259, finished 3rd. The #33 TF SPORT Corvette Z06 GT3.R wins the LMGT3 class.

The next race is the 6 Hours of Imola this April 20th, 2025.

2025 NASCAR Cup Series - Ambetter Health 400

Reeling from their Daytona hangovers, the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series continues in Atlanta for the Ambetter Health 400. The drivers are trying to impress the Peach State with intense NASCAR action.

As the green flag waved, the action in Atlanta began. As Josh Berry nabs Stage 1, Stage 2 saw trouble as Ty Dillon hit the wall and spins on Lap 81 followed by Erik Jones hitting Chris Buescher on Lap 102, a punctured right rear tire for Todd Gilliand on Lap 135, and a crash between Chase Briscoe and Ricky Stenhouse Jr on Lap 149. With Kyle Larson secured Stage 2, the final stage saw a multi-car incident on Lap 183 that was triggered by the collision between Daniel Suarez and Ty Gibbs, two drivers spinning on Lap 204, Ryan Blaney spinning on Lap 234, and a Lap 258 disaster that got Kyle Larson, Austin Cindric, and William Byron on it.

2025 Repco Supercars Championship - Thrifty Sydney 500

The 2025 Repco Supercars Championship started with the Thrifty Sydney 500 campaign at the Sydney Motorsport Park, featuring two nighttime and one daytime race. There's never in the history of Supercars to have a season kicked off at nightfall.

Cam Waters, driving his #06 Monster Castrol Racing Mustang Supercar, made headlines during the season opener by sweeping the entire race weekend. He successfully navigated two nighttime races, with the first race featuring a podium dominated by Ford drivers, including himself, Chaz Mostert, and Thomas Randle. In the second race, he faced off against two Red Bull drivers, Broc Feeney and Will Brown. In the final race, despite rainfall affecting the climax, Waters emerged victorious.

The next race is the 2025 Melbourne SuperSprint, which will take place from March 13 to 15, 2025, the day of the F1 75th anniversary season opener.

2025 NASCAR Cup Series - Daytona 500

The new NASCAR Cup Series season has officially begun with the DAYTONA 500, known as The Great American Race. 

The pre-race ceremony featured some unexpected guests, including U.S. President Donald Trump, who made his second visit to Daytona since 2020 to kick off the rolling start. Actor Anthony Mackie, known for his role as Captain America, served as this year's Grand Marshal. Additionally, the Chevrolet Blazer EV.R NASCAR Concept made its first public appearance in Daytona. It truly is a "brave new world" for this season opener.

As the green flag waved, the first 200 laps of the season commenced until Lap 11, the race came to a halt due to rainy weather, only to resume and then halted again on Lap 20. After a lengthy wait, the race is back on with Lap 24 with Joey Logano leading the restart. Lap 63 saw an accident between Denny Hamlin and Zane Smith.

Joey Logano won Stage 1 of the race, but Stage 2 brought disaster when Helio Castroneves triggered a multi-car accident on Lap 71. Ryan Blaney claimed victory in Stage 2. 

The final stage escalated into chaos on Lap 196 when Christopher Bell spun on the backstretch after being pushed by Cole Custer. Bell's car then collided with the field, resulting in a chain reaction. Ryan Preece's car went airborne, landing on top of Erik Jones' vehicle before flipping over as they entered Turn 3. The incident also involved several other drivers, including Brad Keselowski, Daniel Suarez, Kyle Larson, Bubba Wallace, Justin Allgaier, and Chase Elliott.

After a lengthy weather delay and chaotic moments at the season opener, William Byron wins the Daytona 500 of the NASCAR Cup Series!

The Great American Race is over, but the NASCAR Cup Series has officially begun. The next race is the Ambetter Health 400 in Atlanta on February 23rd.

WRC 2025: Rally Sweden

The 2025 World Rally Championship continues with Rally Sweden. With the championship underway and the heat on, the drivers are going all-out to survive the sub-zero temperatures and tough driving conditions.

Elfyn Evans dominated Rally Sweden from start to finish with a time of 2:33:39.2, finishing 3.8 seconds ahead of fellow Toyota Gazoo Racing driver Takamoto Katsuta. Hyundai N driver Thierry Neuville secured the final podium position.

The next event is the Safari Rally Kenya this March 19-23, 2025.

ABB FIA Formula E S11 - Jeddah ePrix

The two-part Jeddah ePrix, held during the 11th ABB FIA Formula E World Championship season, celebrated the series' 100th race. To honor this milestone, the race weekend featured some of the fastest-rising racing drivers participating in rookie testing, showcasing the capabilities of the GEN3 EVO racing machines at the official venue of the Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

After landmark Free Practice sessions with the fastest-rising rookie racers, the action in Jeddah begins with accidents, clashes, and suspense galore.

The first race saw Maximilian Guenther nailed his first win as a DS driver. In contrast, Nissan driver Oliver Rowland finished 2nd to maintain his title fight and McLaren newcomer Taylor Barnard completed the podium with his third-place finish. In the incident-packed second race, meanwhile, it's an all-British podium with Rowland the winner, Barnard the second placer, and Maserati's Jake Hughes the third placer.

Rowland is leading the championship fight ahead of Barnard but it's too early to tell. The next event is the Miami ePrix this April 12th.

2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship - Rolex 24 at Daytona

The 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season kicked off with the Rolex 24 at Daytona. This race was the first endurance racing event of 2025. A field of 61 cars representing four classes—GTP, LMP2, GTD, and GTD PRO—competed in this grueling race. The Rolex 24 at Daytona is a stunner from dawn to dusk to dawn again.

Following an intense 24-hour showdown in Daytona, the first winners of the 2025 racing season have been announced. Porsche Penske Motorsport had a remarkable 1-2 finish, with the #7 car, driven by Felipe Nasr, Nick Tandy, and Laurens Vanthoor, taking the top spot. Additionally, the #13 AWA Corvette Z06 GT3.R triumphed in the GTD class, while Ford achieved its inaugural GTD PRO victory with the #65 Ford Multimatic Motorsports Mustang GT3. In the LMP2 class, the #8 Tower Motorsports ORECA LMP2 07 secured the win. 

The Rolex 24 at Daytona is over, but the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship has just begun. The next event is the Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring, which will take place from March 12 to 15, 2025.

WRC 2025: Rallye Monte-Carlo

The 2025 World Rally Championship has officially begun with the season's first event: the Rallye Monte Carlo.

The 2025 World Rally Championship season has begun with some controversial changes. For the sake of lightness, the Rally1 cars have reverted to their pure ICE specifications, and the rally tires are now supplied by Hankook Tire. It's a long story, but let's tackle what happened in Monte Carlo.

Sebastien Ogier won the season's first rally in Monte Carlo by 18.5 seconds over his fellow Toyota Gazoo Racing driver, Elfyn Evans. Adrien Fourmaux, driving for Hyundai N this season, finished in third place.

The next event on the World Rally Championship schedule is Rally Sweden. It will take place from February 13 to 16, 2025.

Season 11 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship continues in Mexico City, kicking off the year 2025 with intense zero-emission action situated at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. A chance for the GEN3 EVO machines to flex their electric muscles in the Mexican setting.

Oliver Rowland won the first race of the season for NISMO. He beat out two Porsche drivers, Antonio Felix Da Costa and Pascal Wehrlein, to take the checkered flag.

The next race is in Jeddah for this season's first two-parter this February 14 to 15, 2025.

Gran Turismo World Series 2024 FINAL

Amsterdam, The Netherlands is the final destination of the 2024 Gran Turismo World Series. Who will be crowned the champions? What surprises await for GT7 players? All will be revealed in this final event of the 2024 season.

The finale of the Manufacturers Cup took place at Spa-Francorchamps, where teams faced off for the last time in the series. Although the BMW team secured victory in the final race, it was Lexus that narrowly clinched the Manufacturers Cup title, finishing just one point ahead of BMW.

Moving on to the Nations Cup, where the second race previews a new playable Gran Turismo original racing machine coming soon to GT7; the Gran Turismo F3500-A racing machine that was heavily inspired by 1990s F1 racers, the grand finale in the Nurburgring 24hr saw T. Miyazono snatched K. de Bruin's lead in the near end of the final lap to win not just this race but also the Nations Cup title.

F1 2024: Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Ferrari or McLaren? Which team deserves to be crowned Constructors' champions? What will Lewis Hamilton's final day as a Mercedes driver be before his switch to Ferrari next year? All will be revealed in the F1 2024 finale; the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

As the final race of 2024 began, Sergio Perez spun on the start and retired. while Max Verstappen got penalized for hitting Oscar Piastri on Turn 1. As Lando Norris was leading, Charles Leclerc charged his way to P4 until he went to the pits on Lap 21. Come Lap 28, Franco Colapinto's day in Abu Dhabi is done following mechanical failures. Lap 31 saw Valtteri Bottas send Kevin Magnussen spinning, a heartbreak for Bottas' final race. With 18 laps remaining, Lewis Hamilton threw everything he had until he overtook George Russell and became in P4.

Lando Norris' victory in Yas Marina earned McLaren its first Constructors' Championships title in 26 years. Ferrari sweeps the remaining podium spots with Carlos Sainz in 2nd place and Charles Leclerc in 3rd place. Other finishers such as Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, Max Verstappen, Pierre Gasly, Nico Hulkenberg, Fernando Alonso, and Oscar Piastri.

Congratulations to McLaren for winning the 2024 Constructors' Championship, and thank you, Hamilton, for everything you achieved as a Mercedes driver.

F1 Academy 2024 FINALE

Abbi Pulling is elected world champion but the F1 Academy 2024 season has only one venue left; Yas Marina. With PREMA Racing and RODIN Motorsport locked in a two-way clash for the Team Champions title, this season finale tells all.

Following the cancellation of the second race in Qatar, the season finale was expanded into a three-race event as compensation. Joining the grid for the final races is the last Wild Card driver of the 2024 season, Logan Hannah, representing Away.

In the first two races, this season's champion, Abbi Pulling, an Alpine driver supported by RODIN, set a new record by winning nine races, surpassing the previous champion, Marta Garcia. In Race 1, Pulling triumphed over Hamda Al Qubaisi and Dorianne Pin. Then, in Race 2, she again defeated Chloe Chambers and Hamda.

However, the final race of the season was filled with corner-cutting incidents and collisions among drivers. Notable incidents included Chloe Chambers crashing into Dorianne Pin, Bianca Bustamante colliding with Chambers, and Lia Block's hopes for a podium finish diminishing after receiving a penalty for colliding with Hamda Al Qubaisi. Ultimately, Ferrari driver Maya Weug emerged victorious for the first time in this chaotic race, with Pulling finishing in second place and Nerea Marti rounding out the podium in third, benefiting from Block's penalty.

Weug's recent victory seals Prema Racing's fate as the two-time F1 Academy team champions.

Autobacs Super GT 2024 Series FINAL

Originally supposed to serve as the fifth round of the 2024 season before it got postponed due to weather, Suzuka Circuit serves as the ending to Super GT's 30th anniversary celebration and this final race will decide which team is the champion.

Wrapping up Super GT's 30th-anniversary celebration is the #36 au TOM'S GR Supra of Sho Tsuboi and Kenta Yamashita winning the final race of the 2024 season, earning it the right to be crowned the GT500 champion. The #100 Stanley Civic Type R-GT finished in 2nd place and the #3 Niterra Motul Z finished in 3rd place. 

In the GT300 class, meanwhile, the #88 VENTENY Lamborghini GT3 not only won the final race but was crowned GT300 champion, while the #65 LEON PYRAMID AMG finished in 2nd and the #2 muta RACING GR86 GT finished 3rd.

Season 11 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship marked the beginning of the Gen3 EVO era and welcomed new teams KIRO and LOLA to the grid. The competition kicked off in the streets of Sao Paulo, setting the stage for this exciting new season.

The season opener in Sao Paulo is met with crashes as well as red-flag-triggering moments when Jake Dennis stopped out on track as well as Pascal Wehrlein's big crash at the exit of Turn 6, but the biggest surprise in this race is Mitch Evans of the rebranded Jaguar team.

Mitch Evans started in last place but became the first winner of Season 11 in Sao Paulo. Porsche driver Antonio Felix da Costa finished in 2nd, and McLaren's newcomer Taylor Barnard secured 3rd place.

The next race is in Mexico City this January 11, 2025.

F1 2024: Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix

The 2024 Formula 1 season has two races left, and the Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix is the penultimate leg of the season. Max Verstappen may be crowned this year's champion, but McLaren and Ferrari are neck and neck for the constructor's championship title. This race could be theirs.

As the race began, the second lap saw Franco Colapinto, Esteban Ocon, and Nico Hulkenberg collide in the first corner with the first two out of the race while the Haas driver rushed to the pits with a punctured tire. Also, Lance Stroll and Alex Albon got spun. 

As Verstappen leads, Lap 14 saw Lewis Hamilton slapped with a 5-second penalty for a false start. Come Lap 34, both Hamilton and Carlos Sainz suffered tire punctures.

Lap 41 saw Sergio Perez out of the running following a spin and suffered mechanical failures while Hulkenberg was beached in the gravel. Lando Norris got penalized for failing to slow under yellow flags.

After a dramatic Qatari night race, champion-elect Max Verstappen won the Qatar Grand Prix while Charles Leclerc finished 2nd and Oscar Piastri finished 3rd.

F1 Academy 2024 - Qatar

The penultimate venue of the 2024 F1 Academy season is Lusail, Qatar. This is where it will be decided whether Abbi Pulling has earned the right to be crowned world champion. The Qatar race also welcomes its wildcard guest driver, Alisha Palmowski.

Sadly, the weekend in Qatar got cut short because Race 2 got canceled due to barrier repairs.

Doriane Pin of Mercedes-AMG is this race's winner while Abbi Pulling of Alpine earned her right to be crowned world champion after finishing 2nd place. Ferrari's Maya Weug completes the podium with a third-place finish.
