Nazal stressed that every peso owned by the people must be fully monitored and protected. Nazal said that insertions in the budget should end and that the bidding and procurement processes or spending on projects and programs, should also be open to the public.

- The remains of former Defense Secretary and Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Juan Ponce Enrile arrived at the Department of National Defense (DND) in Camp Aguinaldo past 1 p.m. Enrile was given arrival honors by the military in recognition of his long service to the country.

- Senate President pro-tempore Ping Lacson has submitted to Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., the handwritten testimony of former DPWH Usec. Roberto Bernardo, who named other personalities who used the President's name in connection with obtaining kickbacks for anomalous flood control projects.

- The US Senate approved a bill to release the Jeffrey Epstein files, sending it to US President Donald Trump to sign it.

- The Jeep Recon was unveiled. The newest EV SUV features a 650HP electric powertrain.

- EA Sports F1 25 video game will have a 2026 Season expansion next year, with an all-new F1 game coming in 2027.

- The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) has denied speculation that Viva Max artist Gina Lima was beaten, after an autopsy revealed that the bruises on her thigh were not fatal. Lima was found dead in the condo unit of her ex-boyfriend Ivan Ronquillo in QC. In a press briefing at Camp Crame, QCPD Spokesperson P/Maj. Jennifer Gannaban said that, based on the Regional Forensic Unit, Lima's lungs were congested and edematous, while she also had heart congestion.

- Philippine National Police (PNP) Acting Chief P\Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez, Jr. has ordered the intelligence and cybercrime units to identify the individuals or groups behind the alleged bomb threat at the University of the Philippines (UP) Manila campus. Yesterday, UP Philippine General Hospital and UP Manila received two messages claiming that there was a bomb in their buildings.

- The Malacañang has strongly denied the allegations of former Ako Bicol Representative Zaldy Co against President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., that he ordered the ₱100 billion insertion in the 2025 national budget. According to PCO Secretary Dave Gomez, all the statements made by Co are baseless and are just speculation, especially since the President himself exposed irregularities in flood control projects and promoted measures to hold those involved accountable, recover the stolen funds, and fix the system so that corruption does not happen again.

- Former DPWH Usec. Roberto Bernardo became emotional as he recounted the role of former DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan in corruption in the budgeting of projects and the division of commissions on government projects. During the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hearing, Bernardo tearfully said that he held Bonoan in high regard because he was his mentor and longtime friend.

Juan Ponce Enrile passed away at the age of 101. He made history as the oldest-serving politician in the Philippines. Enrile held significant roles during the Marcos dictatorship, serving as both the Minister of National Defense and the Secretary of Justice. His final position was as Senate President and Chief Presidential Legal Counsel. He was infamously known as one of the main architects of the 1972 Martial Law declaration.

- The Makabayan Bloc is asking the House Committee on Public Accounts and the Committee on Public Works and Highways to investigate the ₱4.4 billion worth of allegedly anomalous flood control projects in Davao City from 2019-2022. The requested investigation is stated in House Resolution Number 464 filed by Representatives Antonio Tinio of the ACT Teachers Party-list, Renee Co of the Kabataan Party-list, and Sarah Elago of the Gabriela Women’s Party.

- Senate Blue Ribbon Committee Chairman Ping Lacson quickly dismissed Senator Imee Marcos' statement that the "very important witness" who will appear in the committee's hearing on anomalous flood control projects is former Congressman Zaldy Co. Sen. Imee earlier said that based on information he received, Co is the very important witness who will appear tomorrow in the hearing via zoom on the ghost flood control projects.

- The Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) has forwarded to the Office of the Ombudsman the referral case of 37 individuals allegedly involved in anomalous flood control projects. According to Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., the recommended criminal charges include graft and corruption, malversation, falsification, and plunder, which are now facing several lawmakers, former DPWH and COA officials, and contractors.

Interlagos is the next stop of the F1 75th anniversary celebrations with the MSC Cruises Gran Premio de São Paulo. From Lando Norris's sprint win to Max Verstappen's disaster that caused him to start at the pit lane, this race is a real table-turner as the climax draws near.

This race is never without chaos, and the restart mess cost Gabriel Bortoleto his race on home turf, while Oscar Piastri received a ten-second penalty.

Amid the chaos, Lando Norris kept his cool as he surged his way towards victory lane. However, the biggest surprise is Max Verstappen's herculean feat. He started from the pit line but finished second. Another shocker in Interlagos: Andrea Kimi Antonelli's first podium, third place. Other finishers include George Russell, Oscar Piastri, Ollie Bearman, Liam Lawson, Isack Hadjar, Nico Hulkenberg, and Pierre Gasly.

Post-Interlagos, Norris is now 36 points ahead of Piastri, 390 vs 366. Verstappen is in third with 341 points. The results are too close to call.

The next race is the Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix this November 22, 2025.

WRC 2025: FORUM8 Rally Japan

The 2025 World Rally Championship proceeds with the FORUM8 Rally Japan, the second-to-last event of the season. While many locals are apprehensive about the rally cars, drivers are tackling Japan's toughest challenges as usual.

Due to the competitors' mishaps because of the inclement weather, Toyota Gazoo Racing claimed the Rally Japan podium, with Sébastien Ogier as the winner, Elfyn Evans in second place, and Sami Pajari achieving his first-ever WRC podium by finishing third.

With Rally Japan over, Ogier and Evans are now butting heads for the title. Who will be crowned the champion? Find out as the 2025 World Rally Championship concludes in the first-ever Rally Saudi Arabia this November 26-29, 2025. Don't miss it.

Gran Turismo World Series 2025 Round 3

The 2025 Gran Turismo World Series continues at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles for its third round. Before the race, the first-ever Gran Turismo Fest took place, bringing together car enthusiasts who showcased their vehicles and passion for the Gran Turismo series. 

Additionally, this venue hosted the Gran Turismo Awards, where the winning modified car will be featured in the Gran Turismo franchise. Notably, this marks the first time the Gran Turismo Awards were held outside of the annual SEMA Show, which has been the tradition in previous years.

The Gran Turismo Awards 2025 winner, which will be featured in the Gran Turismo franchise, is none other than Big Mike's 1992 Honda Prelude.

This round also brought exciting news from the world of Gran Turismo: the first-ever Polestar 5 luxury electric saloon is set to be included in Gran Turismo's Spec III update. Unveiled two months ago, the Polestar 5 is the production version of the Precept Concept. In its full-spec Performance variant, the vehicle's twin-motor electric drivetrain produces an impressive 884 PS of power and 650 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful Polestar model currently available. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in just 3.2 seconds, with a limited top speed of 250 kph. Gran Turismo 7 is the second game to feature the Polestar brand, but the Polestar 5 will be exclusive to the Gran Turismo series.

Onto the third round, the Manufacturers Cup saw Porsche narrowly defeat Toyota on a mad dash to the finish line of Road Atlanta, while Mazda completed the podium with a third-place finish. In the Nations Cup, meanwhile, it's a 1-2 Spanish finish with P. Urra the winner and J. Serrano the second-placer, with the Frenchman K. Drumont finishing 3rd.

Round 3 of the 2025 GTWS concludes with the Manufacturers Cup on a two-point title fight between front-runners Subaru, Mazda, and BMW, while the Nations Cup saw J. Serrano's lead trimmed to 5 points ahead of P. Urra.

FIA WEC S13 - Bapco Energies 8 Hours of Bahrain

Bahrain is the final destination of the 13th season of the FIA World Endurance Championship for the Bapco Energies 8 Hours of Bahrain. Could this race be the moment Ferrari clinches its first-ever Hypercar champion title? Let's find out.

As the final eight hours of the 2025 season came to a close, it was a day of Toyota domination in Bahrain. The #7 Toyota Gazoo Racing GR010 secured its first win of the season, while the #87 Akkodis GP Team Lexus RC F GT3 achieved its first victory in the LMGT3 category.

With the 13th FIA World Endurance Championship well and truly over, Ferrari clinched its first-ever Hypercar champion title with the #51 bagging top honors. Not only that, the #92 Manthey 1st Phorm Porsche 911 GT3R bagged the LMGT3 champion title.
